Dewey County Conservation District

is a political subdivision of the State of Oklahoma- authorities, powers, and structure contained in O.S.27A. Dewey County Conservation District was organized on September 13, 1941 by vote of the landowners and operators. The districts goal is to cooperate with landowners to improve the conservation practices on the land, through best technology and new trends. The district promotes the best conservation practices for dollars spent. Dewey County Conservation District is located in Northwest Oklahoma covering 645,acres in 977 square miles.
